LoLo automatically delivers your campaigns via an authenticated domain. If you own a custom domain, you may set up authentication in order to deliver LoLo campaigns via your own domain.
LoLo's goal is to keep you top of mind, so we have to keep your monthly campaigns in your recipients' inboxes! That's where email domain authentication comes into play.
Email hosting services, (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Microsoft 360 and many more), want to make sure that the emails sent to their users are legitimate. There are security processes and protocols in place to help them do this, (see this article for more info), and the email security landscape has been shifting to make it harder and harder for bad emails to make it through. However, this means we have to work a little harder to get the good emails through too!
If you use a domain that you don't own for your LoLo account, (like a free domain from Gmail or Yahoo, or a corporate domain you don't have access to), we’ll automatically adjust your email address each time you send an email. All the changes are on our side, so you can keep using your free email domain and we'll handle the rest.
We’ll use a LoLo subdomain as the From domain for your email address. Replies from recipients will still go to your account email address.
Here’s an example of what a From address could look like with the subdomain added.
Originalthebestagent@gmail.com
With LoLo's changethebestagent.gmail.com@give.lolo.gifts
If you have purchased your own domain and can access the account in order to authenticate it with LoLo, check out this article and follow the steps to set this up! Then your email From address will match the email address you set your LoLo account up with.
