Track Engagement

How is LoLo helping me connect with my contacts?

Once you’ve sent your first campaign, when you visit your dashboard you'll find your engagement score. This tells you something meaningful: are your contacts paying attention to your campaigns?

Your engagement score is the percentage of the contacts who have received a campaign in the last 90 days and have interacted at least one time in that 90 day period. An interaction is an email open, an email click, an SMS click, a redemption, or a response (via text or comment function). You'll also see a total interactions count nearby. This counts for you how many interactions you’ve had across 90 days, on any campaign. What’s the difference? The total interactions could have occurred on older campaigns, while the engagement score is just looking at things from the last 90 days.

What's a good score?

The median score for LoLo senders is 76%, with typical scores falling somewhere between the high 60s and low 80s. If you're in that range, your score is right on track!

This benchmark is based on senders with a typical LoLo contact list size - between 25–110 contacts. If your list is smaller or larger than that, your score might look a little different - and that's expected, not a red flag.

Where to find more detail

Your engagement score is just a starting point. Further down your dash you'll see a list of the most recent interactions. Checking out more detail is a great way to spot who's been active lately and who might be due for a personal touch. You can also dig in deeper in other parts of your account:

  • Gift Campaigns - see engagement broken down campaign by campaign
  • Contacts page - click into any individual contact to see their personal engagement history

Make it personal

Numbers are a great guide, but the real magic happens outside of LoLo, too. A quick text, a call, a comment on social media - those moments count just as much or more than the interactions generated by LoLo campaigns, so keep track of them however works for you.

At the end of the day, remember that gift redemptions may always be a smaller number - visiting a business in person is a bigger ask than opening an email, and that's okay. What really matters is staying warmly, consistently top of mind with the people in your network. That's what your engagement score is here to help you do.
