Everything to Know: Syncing Moxi and LoLo

Your source for info about syncing your Moxi account to your LoLo account.

How to set it up

A Moxi Engage integration must be set up at the partner level in LoLo - meaning if we have an Enterprise Partnership with your brokerage and we've worked together with Moxi to set up your account, you'll have access!

Follow this guide to ensure your contacts sync perfectly every time.


 

1. The "Big Three" Sync Requirements

Before your contacts can move from MoxiWorks to LoLo, ensure these three settings match:

  • Active Subscription: Your LoLo subscription must be in "Active" status- head to the "Billing" tab in LoLo to make sure you've activated.

  • The "LoLo" Group: In MoxiWorks, your contacts must be added to a group named exactly LoLo.

    • Note: It isn't case-sensitive (lolo or LOLO or LoLo works), but ensure there are no spaces or extra characters in the name.

  • Matching Emails: Your login email address must be the same in both MoxiWorks and LoLo.

 

2. Understanding the "24-Hour Rule"

Our integration performs a nightly update.

  • Changes made in MoxiWorks today (adding a contact, changing a phone number, or removing someone from the group) will be reflected in your LoLo account the following morning.

 

3. Managing Your Contacts

You can easily identify where a contact came from by looking at the trash can icon next to their name in your LoLo dashboard:

  • Gray Trash Can (CRM Managed): These contacts are synced from Moxi.

    • To Edit: Update their name, email, or phone number inside MoxiWorks. These changes will sync to LoLo overnight.

    • To Delete: Remove them from the "LoLo" group inside MoxiWorks. If you delete them in LoLo but they stay in your Moxi group, they will reappear during the next nightly sync.

  • Red Trash Can (Manual): These were added directly into LoLo. You have full control to edit or delete these manually within the LoLo dashboard.

    • Note: If an existing Manual contact is later synced from Moxi with an exact data match, it will convert to a CRM-managed contact.

 

4. Zip Codes & Gift Areas

LoLo uses the Zip Code provided by MoxiWorks to automatically assign a Gift Area to your contact.

  • No Zip Code? No Zone will be assigned. You can manually select a Zone in LoLo if one is missing.

  • Manual Changes: If you manually change a contact’s Zone inside LoLo, we will "lock" that choice. Future Zip Code changes in MoxiWorks will not overwrite a Zone you have manually selected.

 

5. Pro-Tips for Success

  • Emptying your Group: If you need to remove all contacts from your sync at once, please leave at least one "Test" contact in the group for 24 hours to ensure the system processes the mass removal correctly.

  • Direct Access: You can access LoLo via Single Sign-On (SSO) through MoxiWorks, (or for some partners, Okta). You can also set a password at www.joinlolo.com to log in directly at any time.

How do I add a new contact from Moxi to LoLo?

Simply add a LoLo group to your Moxi account (the group name is not case sensitive, meaning you can set it up as LOLO, lolo, LoLo, lOlO, but please do not use any spaces or other characters), then your contact(s) will sync to LoLo.

How often do changes sync from Moxi to LoLo?

Every night LoLo pulls an updated list from Moxi, so any changes you make in your Moxi account today should be visible in your LoLo account tomorrow morning.

How do I choose a gift area for my contacts when syncing them?

The sync checks the zip code of each of your LoLo tagged contacts to suggest the best gift zone for that contact. If you don’t have an address with a zip code entered in Moxi for a contact, you may want to add it; otherwise you will need to select a gift zone inside of LoLo.

How do I remove a contact from LoLo that's syncing from Moxi?

To remove syncing contacts from LoLo, remove the contact from the LoLo group in your Moxi account. You cannot delete the contact from the LoLo platform if they are syncing from your CRM.
